Who Are We?

Communication Station is an education centre and interpreting service to suit you.

Interpreting

You will be provided with an interpreter who has relevant qualifications and experience.

Training

You will be trained by someone that has an appropriate degree and teaching qualifications.

We offer: corporate/charity, group and individual training.

We believe everyone has a right to access education and aim to make all our classes accessible to adults with specific needs.

We offer:

Corporate training.

If you are a company (club or an organization that can get a group together) training can come to you in the form of workshops that will lead to attendance certificates.

Courses that lead to a 'Signature' qualification can also be arranged.

Group training

Whether you are a group that wants me to come to you, or you want to learn as part of an evening class Communication Station can help you.

Evening classes are taught as the 'Signature' Curriculum.

Individual studies.

If you have other commitments but would like to attend regular evening or day courses, please check the site from time to time as these course dates and times will be updated regularly. We are able to accommodate individual needs as much as is possible.

For adults with specific learning difficulties/English as a second language.

You may have specific learning difficulties or know someone that has.  Each student is treated on an individual basis.  Students needing extra support will receive this.

Although our British Sign Language course has some theory, most of it is practical and is accessible to people with limited reading/writing/English skills.

All theory will be made as accessible as possible and adapted where necessary.
